Chris Robinson (UK) visited Kumi in November 2009 and started off a tree nursery buying seedlings from Uganda Forestry Commission.
These were planted in the nursery beds and then re-planted on land near to the Ongino road.
He returned in March 2010 to find that most of the seedlings had perished as the land had not been suitable.
Together with Hospital Administrator Mr. Charles Okula he has started a further plantation in 2011 on a large plot ideal farm land. ( photo nr 4/ Martin with Chris' trees )
